Machines now learn from your corrections, hand big jobs to each other and take calls from the message box. Run one on your own coding agent, too.

Machines now learn from your corrections, hand big jobs to each other and take calls from the message box. Run one on your own coding agent, too.

Correct a machine once and it remembers.

Correct a machine in chat and it keeps the lesson for every later run. A procedure you walk it through becomes a skill any machine can use, and after a run that went badly it suggests what it learned on a card you can allow or turn down.

Ask once and your machines share the work.

Hand a machine a whole outcome, like getting a launch ready, and it splits the work between the machines whose job each step is. You follow every step on one live card in the thread, and it writes up the result when the last one lands.

Run a machine on your own coding agent.

A local machine runs on the computer of whoever asks it, through their own Claude Code, Codex or a model in Ollama, so it uses their plan instead of credits. It has the same brief, lessons and tools as a cloud machine.

Talk to a machine right from the message box.

An empty message box shows a voice key. Press it, or ⌘O, and the box becomes a call with that room’s machine, which answers in a voice of its own with the same tools it has in chat.

Improvements

Machines tell you when they finish your work, from routines and coding runs to tasks and app builds.

AI teammates are called machines now, and each has its own room in the chat list, shared by the whole team.

Set a machine to Joins in and it speaks up now and then when the talk is in its lane.

Set up, change or pause a routine by asking a machine in chat, and it reports back in its own room.

Tell a machine to keep it short, go deeper, think harder or be blunter, and it changes its own settings.

A new dock replaces the sidebar: three small pills in the corner on a computer, one bar on a phone.

Docs gains callouts, a highlighter, typing shortcuts for headings and lists, and Markdown that pastes formatted.

Apps sit as icons on a desktop and open in their own windows, and Generate icon draws one in a click.

Controls turn into their result: a delete becomes its own Undo, Copy becomes a tick, a finished task folds away.

WeMachines is dark by default, with a new robot logo and brighter charts. A theme you already picked stays.

Fixes

On a Mac, an apostrophe typed next to a mention or an emoji keeps the cursor where it was.

Tasks grouped by status read in your board’s order on every device.

Menus that open over their own button, like a task’s ⋮ menu, stay open when you let go.

Dragging a block’s handle in Docs moves the block without opening its menu.

Connecting a plugin from the desktop app hands the login to your browser and finishes it back in the app.

If a plugin’s login does not accept WeMachines, Add by URL says why and asks for an API key instead.

The desktop app finds Codex when it came with the Codex app.

On a phone, the first tap on Search brings up the keyboard.

Machines now plug into the services your team runs on, and can ask before they change anything. They also read the PDFs and links you share with them.

Machines now plug into the services your team runs on, and can ask before they change anything. They also read the PDFs and links you share with them.

Plug your machines into the services your team runs on.

Your machines can check an error in Sentry, query your database in Supabase or look up a payment in Stripe, with nobody copying data across. Pick from nearly 2,500 plugins, then choose in plain words whose account they use and what they may do.

Hand a machine a PDF or a link.

Drop a contract into chat or attach a spec to a task, and the machine reads every page before it answers, scanned pages included. Paste a link and it reads the page in the same reply.

Thank a partner team with a power reaction.

In a channel you share with another company, one glowing reaction on their message sends them 100 of your team’s credits. There is one per message, and both sides see who gave what.

Improvements

Set a plugin to Ask first: Machines look things up freely, and every change waits until you allow it.

A pulsing Apps mark beside a name shows who is building an app, and hovering it says what.

Routines run on any days and times you like, such as Mondays at 18:00 and Fridays at 10:00.

Talk to a machine by voice and it can use its tools and open pages for you, in your own language.

Calls tell you when nobody can hear your mic, and call settings add Reset audio and Report a problem.

Apps can read your docs, so an app built around a doc shows what it really says.

Claude Sonnet 5.5 is ready for your machines, in the cloud or on your own computer.

Mentions and replies you have not read for a few hours reach you by email. Turn it off in Settings.

WeMachines feels faster: pages switch with one quick fade and menus open as you press.

Pending invitations can be sent again, and whoever invited someone hears when they join.

Fixes

A chat scrolled to the newest message stays there while pictures load and new messages arrive.

On a phone, scrolling back through chat keeps your place, and pictures hold their space before they load.

Inline code in a doc stays exactly as written when a machine edits the page.

Files added to a comment wait as small chips until you send, and several uploads at once all arrive.

Ask a machine to post in another channel and the message shows up there.

Try again on an app build remembers what you asked for.

When Claude Code is too old for the model you picked, runs on your computer carry on and say how to update.

Machines now draw pictures and set themselves up from one question. Docs gain charts, toggles and a block menu, and machines answer with charts in chat.

Machines now draw pictures and set themselves up from one question. Docs gain charts, toggles and a block menu, and machines answer with charts in chat.

Ask a machine for a picture, and it draws one.

Illustrations, posters, product shots and mockups arrive in the conversation that needs them, with no other tool to open. A machine asks one short question when the shape or look is unclear, and it can rework a picture someone shared.

Turn numbers into a real chart, in a doc or right in chat.

Type /chart in a doc or a task and fill its grid, paste a table from a spreadsheet, or paste any text with numbers and press Chart it. Ask a machine to show your numbers and it answers with a chart.

Make a new machine by telling it what it’s for.

Add a machine and it asks what it should do for the team. Pick an everyday assistant, a copywriter, a competitor scout or an engineer, or describe the job, and it names itself, picks its role and writes its own brief.

Improvements

Docs get toggle lists and toggle headings, a grip on every block to move it or turn it into another, and code blocks that wrap.

Give everyone a role like Designer or Backend, shown as a small pill beside their name, machines included.

Give a machine a face: upload a picture on its card, or ask it to draw its own.

Apps has a Templates gallery of ten app prompts to copy, from an analytics dashboard to a hiring pipeline.

Compact shortens a long doc in one click and keeps the long version in its history.

On a computer, a task opens in a side panel over the page, so you keep your place.

One searchable model picker lists every current model, Claude Opus 5.5 included.

Everyone on the team except viewers can add and brief machines and routines.

When an app you asked for finishes building, you get a notification, even after closing the tab.

Menus, popups and colour pickers work fully from the keyboard, and icon buttons are named for screen readers.

Fixes

Messages count as read only while WeMachines is in front of you.

A notification rings once per device, not once for every open tab.

The @mention list puts an exact name match first.

Polls made with /poll work in whispers and accept Polish and German quotation marks.

A Next Monday reminder set on a Monday rings a week later, not the same morning.

Create task keeps your draft and asks before a click outside throws it away.

Someone who joins by invite shows up by their name, not their email address.

On a phone, the field you are typing in stays above the keyboard, inside apps too.

⌘K now finds anything in your workspace, and any machine can set you a reminder. Guests join calls from a link, and tasks get saved views and bulk edits.

⌘K now finds anything in your workspace, and any machine can set you a reminder. Guests join calls from a link, and tasks get saved views and bulk edits.

Find anything in your workspace from one box.

⌘K searches every task, doc, message, person, room and app your team has, not just page names. It forgives typos, learns what you open, and narrows with filters like in:#general or from:me.

Ask a machine to remind you, and it will.

Tell any machine "remind me Friday at 3 about this", or pick Remind me on a task, a doc or a message. When it is due it rings on your devices and lands in your Inbox, and only you see your reminders.

Bring anyone into a call with one link.

Customers, candidates and contractors join your team’s voice room from a browser, with no account and nothing to install. They type their name and ask to join, and someone in the call lets them in.

Improvements

Save any task filter as a view, just for you or shared with the team, as a list or a board.

Shift-click to select many tasks, then change their status, priority, assignees, labels or topic at once.

Right-click any task or doc for one menu with everything in it, and it changes every selected task together.

Choose how much of each doc and app machines read, from always in context to hidden, and see what every request carries.

Add @WeMachines to Slack to file a task from a conversation and ask about your team’s work.

Import a Notion database or any CSV as one table in Docs, with long rows kept as their own linked pages.

Choose how tasks move on their own when someone starts work, pushes code, or opens or merges a pull request.

Long docs get an outline at the right edge: point at it to see the headings and click one to jump there.

In a channel shared with another company, the composer says who you are writing to and threads show who replied.

An app’s page shows its code and the data it stores, and any app opens full screen.

Fixes

⌘A in a doc selects the whole document, not the page around it.

A picture copied from a browser, Figma or Word pastes as an image.

Copy link on a chat message gives a full web address, and a link to a thread opens the thread.

In shared channels, the notification for a reply opens the thread itself.

Long menus slide into view instead of hanging off the edge of the screen.

The Mac app’s Dock badge catches up with your unread count as soon as you come back to it.

When your GitHub organization’s owner approves your install request, Connect finds it and links it.

When a routine run does not go through, its machine says so in the room it reports to.
