Fullstack Engineer
WeMachines is the workspace for software teams and their AI - chat, tasks, docs and huddles on your GitHub repo, with an AI teammate whose work ends in a pull request. You’d work across the whole stack - SvelteKit and TypeScript on top, Cloudflare Workers and Supabase underneath, AI running through all of it. We’re hiring two engineers, and each of you would own real parts of the product in your first week.
On a B2B contract. Equity package included.
What you’d actually do
- Ship whole features, from the database to the screen, without handing off in the middle.
- Build the AI parts: agents that use tools, the coding agent that opens pull requests, and the MCP server other agents connect through.
- Work on the realtime core - chat, presence, shared docs and huddles that stay in sync for everyone.
- Use coding agents every day. A lot of our code starts as a task an AI picks up, and you’d review, steer and finish that work.
- Have a real say in what we build next. You’ll talk to the teams using it.
Who this fits
- Strong TypeScript and a modern frontend framework. Svelte helps, but you can pick it up.
- You already build with AI - model APIs, tool use, agents - and know what actually works.
- Realtime and distributed systems don’t scare you: websockets, sync, things arriving out of order.
- You care how it feels to use, not only whether it works.
- You ship. Something real in front of users beats something perfect in a branch.
Bonus points
- You’ve used Cloudflare Workers or Durable Objects, Supabase and Postgres, or Yjs.
- You’ve shipped a desktop or mobile app, ideally with Tauri.
- You’ve built your own AI tools or agents, for fun or otherwise.
