QA Engineer
WeMachines is the workspace for software teams and their AI - chat, tasks, docs and huddles on your GitHub repo, with an AI teammate whose work ends in a pull request. We ship most days, and a lot of that code is written by AI agents. That is fast, and it also means we need someone whose job is finding what broke. You’d own quality across the web app, the desktop app and mobile.

What you’d actually do
- Test new work before it reaches customers, and tell us plainly what is wrong.
- Build automated tests - end-to-end, in real browsers - that catch the same bug from coming back.
- Test the hard parts: realtime chat and docs with several people at once, calls, notifications, payments.
- Check the product in Chrome, Safari, the desktop app and on phones, where the bugs are different.
- Use AI agents to write and run tests, and teach them what good testing looks like.
- Turn customer bug reports into clear tasks an engineer or an AI can fix.
Who this fits
- You’ve done QA on a web product that shipped often, and you’ve written automated tests yourself.
- You can read code well enough to find where a bug comes from, not only that it happens.
- You notice small things - a flicker, a wrong word, a button that does nothing.
- You write bug reports people can act on without asking a question.
- You want to use AI in testing, not be replaced by it.
Bonus points
- You’ve used Playwright or Vitest.
- You’ve tested realtime or collaborative software.
- You’ve tested on iOS and Android, and know Safari’s quirks.
