Collaboration across teams

Different teams.
Shared progress.

Connect conversations, knowledge and people. Decide how far each connection goes.

A shared place to talk.

Shared channels connect teams without opening their workspaces. Organization channels can be required for everyone or optional to join.

AI with a wider perspective.

Agents can read tasks, docs and huddle write-ups from teams that share context. Read-only, off by default. Team chat stays out.

The right people, invited in.

Invite colleagues by email. They join as members; admins manage invitations and roles. Each team controls its own membership.

You decide what crosses teams.

Let teams choose whether to share context, or set and lock the policy. Limit each agent’s tools and ability to make changes.

Integrations

Your tools.
Connected to
the work.

Extend your agents with MCP.

Connect your own MCP servers. Admins approve the tools each agent can use.

  • GitHub

Connect repositories, pull requests and reviews to your team’s tasks.

  • Figma

Preview connected designs and let AI inspect frames, with read-only access.

  • Slack

Turn conversations into tasks. Admins choose what workspace context the bot can read.

  • Google Calendar

Let AI check availability and schedule meetings through each person’s connected calendar.

Built to save
on tokens, too.

Tasks, docs and shared goals give AI structured context. Skills load on demand; prompt caching lowers the cost of repeated input on supported models. Designed for more accurate answers and fewer retries as your organization grows.

AI usage savings vary by workload and are not included in the estimate.

Public annual-plan USD reference rates checked 16 September 2026. Video meetings use an assumed $20 per host per month. Slack and Notion cover everyone; Linear 40%, meetings and Claude 20%, and Fireflies 30%. Zapier uses one workspace at its starting rate; higher usage costs extra.

Staffing starts at six people at $150,000 each per year, fully loaded. The WeMachines scenario assumes $50 per person per month, two AI builders and 25% of existing software spend retained. These are editable assumptions, not an enterprise quote or measured savings. Staffing differences represent capacity for other work, not guaranteed payroll savings.

The percentage compares both modeled totals: (current budget − WeMachines scenario) ÷ current budget. Both exclude AI usage, migration, infrastructure and taxes. Actual savings depend on your contract, workload and the tools and internal work you retain.

A few useful details.

What can we measure?

Compare AI adoption, calls and credits with tasks completed, median time to close and backlog trends. Filter by team over 7, 30 or 90 days, with comparisons to the previous period.

What stays with each team?

Each team keeps its workspace, members, tasks, docs and chat. Enterprise includes Max plus shared organization policies, context, insights and billing.

How does shared context work?

Write your goals and ways of working into the organization’s master context. Every team’s AI receives it alongside its local context.

What can AI read across teams?

Tasks, docs and huddle write-ups from teams with context sharing enabled. This access is read-only and off by default. Team chat is excluded.

How do we manage models and AI spend?

Teams choose agent models within a shared price ceiling; higher-priced choices resolve to a lower-priced option. One credit balance covers all teams, with central billing and automatic top-ups. Built-in features use models selected by WeMachines.
