Reads your workspace
An app can read your tasks, docs, members, chat and connected repos. It can’t write to them.
A server when it needs one
An app that stores data gets its own routes and database, without anyone asking for them.
Keys stay private
An admin adds a service’s key in the app’s settings, where nobody can read it back.
AI inside
An app can use the team’s AI on credits, with no key to paste.
The model per turn
Choose which model builds each change. On the Mac app, a Local build runs on your own Claude Code.

- Apps are in early access: the newest part of WeMachines, and the part that changes fastest.
- Apps are made for your own team. An admin can publish one to its own address, but we don’t recommend anything customer-facing yet.
- Start-up keeps up to 20 apps and Max up to 50.
