Press ⌘K. Find anything, go anywhere.
Press ⌘K from anywhere, a message box included, and one box searches everything your team has: tasks, docs, channels, people, apps and the last two weeks of chat. The same box opens any page in the app and runs a few commands.

From anywhere in the app, even while you type a message. It’s Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux.

Type what you remember
A word, a name or a task code like T-212. Results come grouped by kind, best match on top.

Open it
Enter opens a result and ⌘Enter opens it in a new tab. Opening a person starts a whisper.

Tasks, docs, folders, channels, people, apps, routines, polls, topics, labels and huddle write-ups.
Filters as you type
Type in:#launch, from:, status: or after: to narrow it. Each filter shows as a chip you can remove.
Go anywhere
Every page answers to its name and to what people call it, so “kanban” finds the board.
Run a command
Type > to create a task, start a voice command or open the Inbox.
One kind at a time
Start with # for channels or @ for people, or press Tab to narrow to one kind.
Recent chat
Messages from the last two weeks, matched on the words people actually wrote.
Good to know
- Search reads titles and descriptions, not the text inside a doc. ⌘F finds words on the page you have open.
- Chat older than 14 days is gone from the workspace, so search can’t find it.
